The M-Pack relocatable plant is an excellent choice for producers who need a permanent facility but want the option of moving in the future. With the M-Pack the owner gets the same large components used with a stationary plant, including full size control rooms and high mix storage capacity. The M-Pack is supplied as a set of self-contained, skid-mounted modules. Set-up is comparably fast for a facility of this size. The typical Astec M-Pack plant is operating within three weeks of delivery. No concrete foundations are needed, except for the silos. This means that site preparation costs for the M-Pack are a fraction of those required for a stationary facility. Thick, built-in steel skid foundations allow the contractor to set the plant off on a level site paved with a layer of asphalt.
Two basic standard layouts of the M-Pack are offered. The straight line layout is suitable for most plant sites. It comes in both a right and left hand version. For smaller sites the box layout is available, which arranges components in a rectangle. It is also supplied in right and left hand versions. Astec will accommodate special site layout constrains and can supply layout design and plant configurations for special requirements.
