Screw conveyors are used to move fine material through auger action. In Hot Mix Asphalt plants these conveyors move baghouse dust to storage or back to the mix. Zero speed switches on these conveyors alert the operator in the case of a blockage or stoppage. Astec dust screws feature extra thick shafts which eliminate hanger bearings for most models. Reduction of hanger bearings means less maintenance. |
